Thrilled to be interviewed for August's 'Meet the Member' feature in Coaching Today. Here's just a taster…
'I enjoy exploring how to best apply psychological and therapeutic frameworks to build resilience, hope, wellbeing and flourishing – so I’ll happily walk and talk with anyone who shares my awe and curiosity in this area. In terms of my coaching practice, I work with visionary entrepreneurs and courageous leadership teams as they build dynamic businesses with ambitious growth plans. Typically, they are either launching for the first time, or repositioning themselves in often crowded and fast-moving markets.
Many business leaders, and a growing number of academics, see the critical role that mindset and psychological wellbeing can have on flourishing and sustainable performance.5,6 After all, we can only focus on exceeding the expectations of our clients if we invest in and look after ourselves and each other in the first place.

Few accomplished business owners I meet are ‘in it for the short haul’, and if they are, it’s often to start up another business. They are rarely looking for quick fixes or satisfied with superficial answers. By selectively and intentionally incorporating evidence-based psychological interventions and proven therapeutic concepts, coaches can utilise the necessary tools to respond more effectively to the diverse growing pains of businesses, their owners, leaders and wider teams.'
